Frequently asked questions
At My Gravity Kids Aerial & Gymnastics, progression is intentional, earned, and supported. We believe children thrive when they understand their journey, feel proud of their progress, and are guided clearly — without pressure or comparison.
Our Structured Progression Framework
All students follow a clear development pathway supported by our in-house curriculum and certification system:
• Beginner Level - Bronze • Silver • Gold
Students build strong foundations in:
• Safe technique and aerial awareness
• Grip strength, coordination, and body control
• Fundamental skills across apparatus
Progression is based on confidence, consistency, and technical readiness, not speed.
• Intermediate Level - Bronze • Silver • Gold
As strength and understanding develop, students progress to more complex skills:
• Controlled climbs, inversions, and transitions
• Improved strength-to-weight ratio
• Greater focus, endurance, and spatial awareness
Coaches provide targeted feedback to support steady, confident advancement.
• Advanced Level - Bronze • Silver • Gold
Advanced training is reserved for aerialists who demonstrate:
• Excellent technique and body control
• Strength, stamina, and safe execution
• Maturity, focus, and coachability
At this level, students refine performance quality, artistry, and precision — and may be guided toward competition or performance pathways where appropriate.
• Progress is assessed continuously during classes, not through high-pressure testing
• Coaches track skill readiness and physical development
• Certificates are awarded when a student consistently demonstrates the required skills safely and confidently
• Every child progresses at their own pace — there is no rushing levels
This ensures long-term development, reduced injury risk, and strong confidence.
Performance & Celebration
Each year, all academy students are invited to take part in our End of Year Show — a celebration of growth, courage, and commitment.
This performance:
• Builds confidence and stage presence
• Encourages teamwork and pride
• Allows students to showcase how far they’ve come
For many children, this is a powerful milestone — from stepping onto the apparatus for the first time to performing with confidence in front of family and friends.
At My Gravity Kids Aerial & Gymnastics, progress isn’t just about skills — it’s about confidence, resilience, and believing in what your body can do.
Our Young aerialists may be small, but they are mighty!
From their first spins to their first hangs, we help them build safe technique and strong self-esteem from day one.
We’re also proud of our Competition Team — elite aerialists who perform and compete nationally. Their work ethic, creativity, and team spirit are second to none.
